My academic journey began at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, where I earned a Joint Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Women’s & Gender Studies. This foundational experience ignited my passion for understanding the complex interplay between social factors and health outcomes.

Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding and expand my impact, I pursued advanced degrees at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I earned a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Science in Epidemiologic Science, followed by a Ph.D. in Sociology with specializations in Health, Aging, & the Life Course and Social Demography.

Throughout my academic journey, I have been committed to amplifying marginalized voices and advocating for health equity. My work in community-based research has been instrumental in highlighting the lived experiences of underserved populations, ensuring that their voices are central to the development of effective interventions and policies.

My entrepreneurial spirit led me to establish Asé Analytics, where I serve as the Principal Consultant. In this capacity, I develop and implement strategic initiatives, oversee client relationships, and lead a team of experts to address critical health equity challenges.

Beyond academia and consultancy, I am dedicated to effective science communication and public engagement.
